Learn to Square Dance!
Square dancing is lots of fun,
a great way to meet people, and provides enjoyable exercise for both the mind and body!
Once you have learned the basics (which for us means up through the internationally recognized Plus program),
you can dance almost every night of the week, if you wish!
There are often dances (called Hoedowns) on weekends, with even larger events
at various times throughout the year.
Both singles and couples are welcome at our classes, and you may attend either with or without a partner!
Because of uncertainty regarding the duration of the pandemic,
we do not yet know when classes can resume. We are monitoring the situation, and will post information
here when more is known. We'd be happy to add you to an email list to receive notification about our next class --
just send us a message telling how to
contact you!
Where Do We Dance?
Both the class and club dance at:
- Loyola Elementary School
- 770 Berry Avenue

The Ice Cream Fling Thing!
2021 DANCE CANCELLED
in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Since 1973 local square dancers have welcomed the month of June by attending the
Ice Cream Fling Thing,
the Anniversary Dance of the Bows & Beaus, held the first Saturday in June.
However, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been regretfully necessary to cancel both the 2020 and the 2021 dances.
Please stay healthy and join us in looking forward to square dancing in the future!
